I've been a patient for over 15 years. Even thru changes in the Doctors as the staff evolves, I've been extremely comfortable with the level of care and genuine concern for my wellbeing, offered by the Shelby Medical Team. With a lab on-site, as well as Xray capabilities they are able to diagnose issues and concerns quickly. They are however, readily willing to suggest further steps, with specialists, if appropriate, and assist with speedy referrals.
This practice interviews or vets their patients. I have never in all my years seen a doctor's office vet their patients. They refuse patients for who knows what reasons. I was refused and I am not on any meds, don't drink and don't smoke. I just needed a general practitioner/internist since I just moved here from Florida. Ridiculous. I'm surprised they are still in business. Imagine if we vetted or interviewed our doctors - heck I do that already and will continue to do so.
