Beautiful apts
Moved in a couple of months ago. Aurora was very helpful in getting things arranged for me. Nice smaller building without a million neighbors. Pedro in maintenance helped me as well.
I so badly wanted to live here. When it was time to apply I was disappointed. I’d reached out to the property prior to even thinking about living there, no response. I’m out of state, so I had to go with my gut. I decided to apply. I sent everything over. I literally heard nothing after. When not even a call a few days later with an update. Nada. In the meantime I’d applied to a new building further north. I sent a letter to the person helping me, Aurora, telling her I wasn’t interested. Still nada.
If I could give zero stars, I would. This building is marketed as a luxury residence, but what residents actually experience is the complete opposite. Safety and maintenance concerns go repeatedly ignored or minimized by management. The property manager routinely downplays issues, and when residents raise concerns, they are brushed off with vague promises and no follow-through. very disappointed with The Shelby, they don't negotiate which made me lose my section 8. The place is very nice why can't you come down on your listing prices, let good people stay their without all the hassles of saying we don't negotiate!!! So, with that being said. I'm very highly disappointed with you all. The Shelby SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!! All we want to do is live somewhere safe and updated.
