When my little bird had an accident, I couldn’t get any other avian vet within 100 miles to see him. Shelburne Veterinary Hospital was not only sympathetic to our plight, they immediately made time to see my little Ziggy. Thanks to their prompt and thoughtful care, he was relieved of his pain and is now on the road to recovery. Everyone there truly cares about your pets, and they are attentive and knowledgeable. I won’t even bother to look for an avian veterinarian closer to home. This is where my birds will go from now on
They have helped make the transition as first time pet owners so much easier for me and my husband. So many questions, and we’ve gotten so much support and help! I could write a novel... bottom line expect extreme kindness, professionalism, skill, and people that care about what they do!
We've have a long history with Shelburne Veterinary Hospital, and Dr. Bisson has cared for several generations of our canine companions providing preventative care, emergency treatment, and counsel and support during difficult farewells. We, and likely our two pooches, can't imagine going anywhere else.

I was referred from my dog's vet to Dr. Bisson for one of my gerbils that needed his teeth worked on and I was blown away by the entire staff. Dr. Bisson was extremely knowledgeable and presented me with several options without pushing me into spending a lot of money. I was so impressed that I will be switching my husky to Shelburne Vet and using them for all of my pet needs moving forward!! ❤

I've been coming here for years for my rabbit! Dr Bisson gives her fun nicknames and really delivers amazing care for her - he recognized an issue she has where she won't chew correctly and wear her teeth evenly and has everything she needs to make her regular dental care the most comfortable possible even when she needs it during busy times of the year.
