When my wife and I come to Shelburne to visit our daughter, son-inlaw , and grand children. We always make a trip to Shelburne Farm. It is a fantastic educational experience for our grand children and for adults. It is so amazing to watch the same staff personnel putting their passion, energy, and skills to work as they teach us about the eco system, and the various interesting topics of agriculture, farming, making cheese. There is so much to learn, and the staff is so eager to teach. Amazing, just so amazing. Will always c... read more

Take the property tour! It's worth the extra few dollars to see the inn and it's gardens. Most tolerant chickens I've ever seen.

Spent a wonderful day at Shelburne Farms. Took the Property Tour which is approx a 2 hour guided tour and cheese sampling. The information provided a great history of the property as well as the current focus of farming, conservation and sustainability. Great place for all ages. What a beautiful venue along Lake Champlain. I highly recommend a visit.
