The doctor will ONLY see you the 1st initial visit and will REFUSE to see you as a "follow up" and will only let you see their RUDE NASTY ARROGANT UNEDUCATED "nurse practitioner" who will make fun of you and who knows nothing about your condition. Dr. Shakkadia is a JOKE! After I've been diagnosed with epilepsy he had the nerve to tell me to my face that I didn't need any more tests and to just take the medication and deal with it. I am posting this to warn others about Dr. Shekhadia. If he has any bit of consciousness and decency hopefully one day he changes his behavior towards his patients. He should uphold his pledge as a Doctor. Me and my wife were given his name as a referral after a terrible and emotional week at the Hospital. We came in to see him hoping to have get some answers about her condition. Instead when we went in to see Dr. Shekhadia he was completely inhuman and incompassionate. I wasn’t seen in this office but in at Advent Health Waterman. Not only did he not examine me the way he notes in my chart but he also notes every complaint I came in for as denied having. Reported everything opposite of what I had and didn’t spend any time in the room. I was referred to him for follow up this week but to be completely transparent and honest after seeing his notes on our interaction I have completely no trust in his evaluation or findings. Very disappointed in the level of care I received.
