I totally ?? would recommend and do to all my friends! I feel that she is very professional and is also very personable! I had a situation many years ago that I consulted other dermatologists and also went to the ER at Northwest Hospital! Dr. Eisen diagnosed the problem automatically just by looking at it! I think very highly of her! ??????
She is rather unpleasant and I do not trust her medical skills
Have a cronic skincondition, so my primary care refered me to Dr. Eisen at Healthy skin Dermatology. First available appointment was 3 months away, but I took it. Got a phone call one DAY before the appointment..after scratching for three ,omths...gee, we're sorry..Dr. Eisen is not accepting new patients! Really...not when I called for the appointment...they waited 2 months and 29 days to cancel at the last minute...I don't care if she's a great doctor, her practice sucks!
I came in because I have a skin tag on my eye. About a week prior to this, I had an appointment for the same condition. She spoke down to me like a child. She told me I had to be patient & it would fall off. No-one told me any of this info at my initial appointment, if they had, I completely understand and I would have waited. She went on to explain how she was doing me a favor by seeing me within the 10 days that insurance does not cover it. I felt so terrible when I left. This Dr was awful. I saw her because my usual physician was booked for 2 months. Dr. Eisner was rude, dismissive, demeaning and belittling. It was completely obvious that me being there was a complete and total waste of her time. I will be sending in a formal complaint.
Dr. Eisen is a first class professional who I can recommend without reservation. She is very thorough, friendly and your appointment is not rushed. You won't be disappointed.
While here for the winter unfortunately I needed to establish myself with a good Dermatologist. I had no idea so I feel very blessed that I landed at Healthy Skin Derm & especially with dr. Sheftel & staff. Two years ago I had a terrible experience back home with a MOHS procedure. I was a bit shaken that the biopsy had confirmed what Dr. Sheftel thought. Dr. Sheftel has been my "go to" skin doctor for over 25 years. That, in itself, says it all.
In the two years I used Dr. Eisen I wasn't particularly impressed. Both visits were routine skin care checks - and I felt that she wasn't really interested in discussing other skin issues with me. After my previous experiences with dermatologists in NY and Ct., I found Dr. Eisen seriously lacking. Mediocre care at best....and oh, trying to get meds over the phone is a nightmare.
