Loving Memories I have gone to Dr. Julie LaForge and this Veterinary Hospital for at least 20 years and believe they are wonderful to my pets and Family! They have great skills that has helped my pets through some very hard times. Dr. Julie really listens to the Family and does the best thing for the pet. Sandy and all the vets at Sheffield's I have been breeding Miniature Schnauzers for 9 years now. I didn't know much when I first started into breeding. And it was scary being alone and not knowing all the pitfalls involved. Even though I read every book on breeding that I could get my hands on, I still needed help from an experienced breeder. Worth the drive! I take my cats to Sheffield Veterinary Clinic because of a referral from the physician I work for. The whole staff is very helpful and friendly, and they all are very knowlegeable. Their pricing is very reasonable too.!
Excellent care. I have found Sheffield to be very caring and thorough about my pets' care. I would say that their policy is definitely more focused on pet needs than customer needs which I find to be a good thing for the most part. Some things they do might be a little over the top for me, such as insisting on an exit interview with the vet when your pet comes home from neuter. Bad Customer Service My father had taken his animals to Sheffield for 20+ years. Not sure what's going on there lately but the service has gone down the tubes. Secretary was quite rude. Was having a very important surgery for our cat, had saved the money for 2 months, only to be told they 'forgot something' the day before the surgery, and the cost went up by 1/3. The 'something' they forgot was known by them as they diagnosed her with it from the very beginning and we have to remind them of it every time we bring her in. All... read more
Pleasant Staff, Great Doctors My dog Molly needed a surgery to correct an infected uterus. She is nine years old and has had many good years in the past. Even with the risky task of surgery at hand, She has come through the entire ordeal healthier and more playful then before. We cannot thank you enough for all that you did to help Molly. Robert Smith
Great Service I would like to Thank the Sheffield Staff for taking such wonderful care of our beloved Charlie. Being new to the area we were not sure who to call when Charlie suddenly became ill. I called and the staff made arrangements for him to be seen right away. We were not able to save Charlie, however in his last moments of life he received the best care possible from the professional staff at Sheffield. I would highly recommend Dr Julie to anyone in need of a vet.
ceaser We had taken our dog to them for over 13 years and they were very good to us and him. When it came time for him to be put down, they were very caring to both of us. They allowed me to say my goodbyes and understood that I was upset. They all bad thing was the receptionist seemed uncaring to my feelings. Over all they are a good clinic.
Rude Secretaries I called Sheffield vet clinic to inquire about getting my 10 year old cat declawed. I didn't realize they don't recommend older cats getting declawed. When i asked the secretary about it, she very rudely asked me "Why would you want to do that to that cat?" Sevice with a smile will keep your customers happy.
