Sheepscot General is the social and food hub of Whitefield and the surrounding area. From their gourmet sourdough-crust pizzas on Friday nights (Pizza Night) from 5-8 p.m. (check out their amazing, always creative and delicious special pizza, made with seasonal ingredients!) to their ridiculously divine cakes and pastries to their open mic and arts events -- not to mention the super friendly staff and all the people one runs into there -- this place is my favorite place in Lincoln County hands-down. We were there to be entertained by Walter Weymouth. He has a great voice and writes a lot of his own songs. It was a perfect night for an outside concert.
