Dr. Sheela Lohiya is my endocrinologist where I started off with her at the downtown campus. I have followed her to Fayette campus because she is just that good. I needed the Name brand for Synthroid and Dr. Lohiya reached out to a pharmacy where I could order the meds cheaper than my medical insurance offered it. More of our Doctors should have her wisdom, talent and personality.
After waiting six months for this appointment, I left extremely disappointed. The entire visit lasted under two minutes and felt rushed from start to finish. My concerns were not meaningfully addressed, and the doctor immediately pushed a GLP-1 medication based solely on my weight. When I asked about investigating the root cause of my issues, the question was ignored. The experience felt dismissive and lacked the level of care and attention I expected.
I have been a patient of Dr. Lohiya for over three years, and I can confidently say she is one of the most exceptional physicians I have ever worked with.
