I think Sheela spent 10 minutes in the room with me before she came to her conclusion of simply giving me a prescription. First thing she said was young people need to manage their stress better. Well I never said I was stressed but ok. She then recommended I change my eating habits and see a dietitian WITHOUT asking me what I eat on a regular basis. I’ve tried for 2 weeks to call and make an appointment. I have sat and waited for someone to answer and nobody will. Definitely can’t pick them as my doctor when they can’t answer the phone, especially since it’s a pattern. I would hate to have a concern as a patient and not be able to get through to anyone. Guess I’ll try somewhere else.

It started well. She ran some tests and prescribed ppi’s for chronic reflux. Gave me a diet to follow. 6-8 weeks became 5 + years. My symptoms continued to worsen. Now I can’t get an appointment and my frequent begging for relief dismissed. I am hoping another doctor can address my issues and provide more options. I am in so much pain it is ridiculous. I did like Brooke, the nurse.
