This fair has gone down hill fast. It’s one of the most expensive fairs in the area (you have to pay separate for parking, admittance, special events, and rides). The layout of the fair is horrible...it condenses everyone in one little strip where the food is- with no way of bypassing it. You literally have to fight ur way thru the masses of people shoulder to shoulder and cut thru long lines for food to get to one end of the grounds to the other. There are hardly any vendors with stuff to sell-just boring area companies sel... read more

a FAIR is what YOU make it. There are many lovely animals to view and plenty of foolish rides to go on...... How about looking at the CRAFTS that many people work so hard on......to exhibit. Music is always fun......If you can perform, volunteer!!! But hey--take time to smell the ROSES of the FAIR.........

The fair has really gone down hill. I understand its expensive to get "big names" in there but if you do like other counties I feel your attendance will increase substantially. Charge $10 to get in but it includes performances, and if they don't like/go well you still pay $10. I hope it changes soon or your going to lose people, I remember Alan Jackson, and Kenny Rogers, Joan Jett and the Black Hearts. You couldn't walk up the mid way or by the North to the south end without waiting for people to move. Now it takes Maybe 2 m... read more

anyone else think the fair sucked this year?! normally I look forward to it every year, but this by far has been the worst year.... Mr Ed's is complete garbage, in my opinion. the game selection was junk and what happened to half the bigger kid rides?? this place had really gone down hill and definitely not a place where parents can even take their kids to have fun. it's sad when a fair can't even entertain a 5 yr old. I wouldn't even give this place 1 star this year
