Pricing their haircuts by gender instead of time or length of hair, is crazy. I should not be charged almost double what my husband gets charged, despite getting identical cuts, with the same length of hair. Why was I charged double? I asked: because I'm a woman. Its 2026. Don't use sexism as the basis of your prices.

I booked with a stylist and the haircut was mediocre. When I told her I would like a blowout that I didn’t wanna leave with my hair wet she got angry. When she was blow drying my hair, she was blow drying it straight and I said no I would like a blowout. She said well your hair just blow drys straight and I said well you’re using a big brush You need to use a smaller brush. I said I’d do this all the time at home. I could tell she got angry and became more rough with my hair and stopped talking to me. I left very unsatisfied... read more

I had my hair done by Meri, and she was amazing! She really listened to what I wanted and made me feel super comfortable. My hair turned out beautiful, healthy, and super natural (without “greys”). She found the match colour ❤️ Highly recommend Meri if you’re looking for someone who’s talented, kind, and really cares about her clients.
