RecommendedMy husband and I celebrated our 5th Anniversary this evening and it was such a great experience for us. Michael was our server and he was fantastic! The food was all absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the lobster bisque and the scallops! I even got a rose from our server and we were treated to chocolate cake for our Anniversary. Excellent across the board.
We were in Galveston this past weekend and we were about to go for dinner when someone told us they had a dress code. I mean, I was on a vacation so I only had jeans and shorts. Well I found out that they didn’t even allow that. Who goes to the beach in dressy attire? But oh well, another restaurant got our money that night for dinner.
My husband and I celebrated our 43rd wedding anniversary at Shearn’s. Our evening was perfect in every way with delicious cuisine and outstanding, personalized service. We ordered the Tuesday night special of steak and lobster and were not disappointed in the least. The steak filet was cooked to perfection and the lobster tail was large and melted in your mouth. Professional wait staff. Food was amazing and the ambiance was so romantic.
Great food and great service.
Restaurant week menu. My wife’s flounder had no flavor. My braised short ribs tasted like roast beef. The root vegetables were minuscule and my wife’s puréed potatoes appeared to be mashed potatoes. Deserts were equally disappointing. Will not be back to eat.

Everything from the service to the food was excellent. My steak was cooked to perfection and the side dishes were amazing. It was such a treat to have the Crab Cocktail - not many restaurants have a choice between the shrimp and crap cocktails. I am unable to have shrimp so being able to enjoy this appetizer was truly a treat and it was delicious. We enjoyed everything including the dessert. We highly recommend Shearn’s and will be returning.
