cv I like this salon because it is focused on hair services, not all the spa stuff. My stylist (Shelly) is a true hair professional - she knows the current trends, can do great color, cut and styling. I get compliments on my hair everywhere I go. Also, I never have to wait, she is always running her day on time even though she has a busy schedule, which I greatly appreciate. I would recommend this salon and Shelly highly.

High Style at an affordable price! These stylist are always going to classes to provide the newest techniques and styles. I am so glad I was refferred here. I think it is one of the most friendly atmospheres I have found. My stylist really listened to what I wanted and also made so suggestions based on my face shape. I saw men, women, ladies both young and older come out looking great while I recieved the best most reasonable foil hilite I have ever gotten! Great Job!

negative star I would give this place a negative star if I could! . . . i have a simple angled bob I am trying (was trying) to let grow out. I asked for it to be cut slightly shorter in back but to leave the side length, blending the cut together. IT WAS CHOPPED!!!! and once its gone . . its gone! not to mention how much it cost. DO NOT GO HERE! I will never go back unless its to retrieve the money I paid.

Excellent Service I would not go anywhere else. Vicky has been doing my hear for over 20 years now and just raised her prices to bring herself up to the going rate at the shop. If you want someone who cares about what you want and does an excellent job I highly recommend Vicky Leonard(Gatewood).

Execellent Salon. I have had my hair cut, colored, highlited, and styled at Shear Tranquility. My experience there was execellent. The stylist really listened to what i was wanting done with my hair. When she waxed my eyebrows, they looked perfect. I had no problems. The staff were all very nice.The Pricing of services were lower than similar full service salons. All in all, i would recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for stylists who actually pay attention to what a customer wants.

this is the nicest salon i have ever been in i would strongly recommend shear tranquility styling salon to anyone, the staff couldnt be any nicer. i recieved the best hair style(cut and color) that i have ever recieved. the owner is the sweetest lady and made me feel right at home, not to mention the salon itself i have never been in a salon as beautiful and as clean as this one. i have found the only salon that i will ever go to. sometimes a name says it all SHEAR TRANQUILITY

Reasons I'm no longer a client Staff is an important reason for the success of a beauty salon. The staff here can be a bit rude and bossy. My scalp began to burn when getting my hair colored, a stylist shouted at me to "leave it on" or that I would "ruin my color". They were also a bit condescending when I asked questions about hair coloring like, "is it okay to color your hair when pregnant".
