I was in a real rut with my hair and didn't really know what I wanted until..............I went to Shear Elegance and Patty helped me find myself. This salon is the cleanest and most friendlest place I have ever been........I will continue to go to Shear Elegance for all my hair and nail needs.........I highly recommend this shop to anyone that is in a rut and wants something different for a change. SAVE YOUR MONEY! The salon is very clean and nice the products amazing. The staff friendly, but don't let the free snacks and big screen tvs distract you from the haircut, the girls are very inexpierenced. They over charge for haircuts which can be performed better by students at the local beauty college. they took a long time to cut my hair, and styled it very well. but when i got home and styled it myself the next day it was a wreck and the layers weren't even.

This salon was so adorable! The stylists there were funny and welcoming, and are great at what they do. I colored my hair from dark brown all the way to vibrant red, and there were no spots where the bleach didnt take out the color. The red hair dye that this salon used had stayed in my hair for almost a month without fading, the vibrant red color had lasted longer than any other salon's color could manage to do, and I wash my hair every other day! I heard of this solon from a friend that I haven't seensuch good work until she went there. So, I went to see for myself when I arrived I couldn't believe the courtesy and professionalism they had. The stylist ,Patty that worked on my hair was so great that I don't think I will go Anywhere else again. The young lady that did my nails she was absolutly outstanding they have lasted 3 weeks I will only go there for my fills from now on. I will refer all my friends from now on. I just got the best cut n color of my life.very clean and the girls there are pros.the price is average and the products are great.thanks PATTY!!! I will be in every few weeks for as long as i live in reno.

Do not go to this place. The building is clean and the employees are nice and accomodating, however the quality of cut that was given was by no means WORTH the price I paid for it. I could have saved some cash and gone to a place like Cost Cutters and received the same quality of cut. It is uneven and choppy and I now need to go have it repaired. For a place like this I expected stylist with a bit more skill to be employed there.
