It's not a spa, it's a hair salon! I used to live in the Galleria area and went to a salon over there that wasn't the greatest looking, but the owner did a great job on my hair. After moving to Pearland I found this place and Sylvia. I pay about the same (around $100 for hi-lites) as I did in the Galleria, which seems high for out here, but my hair looks great. Shear Design My last review was in December and I am still delighted with my appointments. You need to at least drive by and see her building now. It sits alone off Hwy 518, a block from Cullen Blvd. intersection. A beautiful, brightly colored mural will definitely send out an invitation to visit and let Emma do her magic.
Carlos is the man!!! I get my hair done, highlights/lowlights and cut by Carlos. Every time I go and explain what I want - he hits the nail right on the head! I wanted my hair shorter, but still long, and darker but still blonde, and Carlos made me look exactly how I wished I would! Carlos rocks!!!
Robin R. I have been a customer of Emma's for 22 years. I will never go to anyone else. I have short hair and it needs to be trimmed every 4 to 6 weeks, I have gone over 8 weeks because I was out of town and WOULD not go anywhere else. She has great ideas about your haircut and color.
Very Skilled Stylist Emma is a true magician when it comes to hair. Whether it's cut, color, hilights, or updos, she is the one to see! I've watched her fix many bargain haircuts from those "other places". She works with her usual good humor and compassion, and creates a wonderful, warm and unique atmosphere. Super service Travis Evans is AWESOME! After 11 years of going to the same stylist, I relocated to a new town and found Shear Design. Travis gave me a whole new look and I'm very happy with it. Everyone is so nice and makes you feel welcome and comfortable. Please go see them...you will love them.
I recommend Sue Sue has been cutting my hair for about 3 years. She does an excellent job. My hair is very challenging to cut and I have walked out of many salons really upset by a bad haircut from a stylist that does not know what he/she is doing. I know that I am in good hands with Sue. She understands how to cut my hair to its best advantage. When I want to try something new, she knows what will work and what won't work. She can taylor the cut so that it works with my hair. I highly recommend Sue. She is fantastic.
mrs I would like to share this review , I had a wonderful Hi-Lite & Haircut w/sue at Shear Design , she processed my color w/ an enzyme developer that process in 15 minutes and is healthier for my hair, the shine is fabulous . She was very professional , you can tell that she has 30 yrs. experience .
Euphoria I give thanks to Emma and Araceli for introducing me to spiritual healing. Totally phenomenal!! If you have never experienced a healing touch, I highly recommend it; my prayer time has increased by far.
