About this business
Tom and Mark Shea officially started Shea Bros upholstering in 1977. Our apprenticeship started before that time. While in High School we were both in a program called work study, which was attending school classes for a half day then going to our work program the other half day. We both worked in the same shop under the watchful eyes of a Master Craftsman. Our learning experience was invaluable. We began taking on side jobs working in our family basement. Very talented and detailed. They constructed an ottoman and then upholstered it to match a set I bought in a retail store. Perfect match.
