This was my second time here, and I decided to try one of their seasonal drinks. I absolutely loved it! There was plenty of seating available, I didn’t have to wait long for my coffee, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Easily one of the best coffees I’ve had in St. Louis. I’ll definitely be back!
Must have come on a bad day - there's lot's of seating and theoretically looks like a cute place to do work or chat, but the WiFi wasn't working and they were in the process of roasting beans, resulting in a smokey, bitter, mildly unpleasant smell, but this could be avoided by sitting in a different section. I ordered a hot seasonal latte, but the coffee tasted insanely bitter/over-extracted even with the overly sweet syrups and toppings, and the milk didn't seem like it was frothed very well from what I could taste and see ... read more
Shaw Coffee is the kind of place you can't find much anymore — a real "third place" where you feel like you belong. The shop is set inside an old bank, and you can even sit in the old vault while you drink your coffee, which is such a unique touch. The staff make it what it is, though. Stopped in at Shaw’s Coffee today and loved it! The interior is beautiful and the food and coffee were very tasty! Brenna waited on us, she is such a doll! I will be coming back!
