Dr. Palmer and the medical staff are awesome but the backend of the office are very unpleasant. I was billed $382.00 for a follow up visit and after insurance paid $188.00 my responsibility was $193.00. Debbie very rudely told me that was an estimate and and if I would look at my bill I would see that. I did look at my bill and my responsibility was $193 after insurance and my next appointment would also be $193.00 I was then notified that I was past due for that balance. The office staff has always been friendly and helpful. However, I found the doctors rude (except Dr Apier). My children are mostly vaccinated (all childhood vaccines), but the doctors said they would refuse to care for my teens if they were not fully vaccinated. We eat an extremely healthy diet and exercise. The doctor tried to bully me by saying my kids might die a horrible death if I refused any vaccines. This office is the worst. The front office staff was always rude to the point that I actually filed a complaint with the hospitals hotline and the manager over the office spoke to me in person. The dr we had was nice and we had no issues with her. But trying to ever get appointments when our kids were sick or needed seen out of their yearlys or baby check ups was a complete joke. STAY FAR AWAY! I have been attending this office since inception when my primary care physician moved to this location. The front office staff is great. Losing a Doctor is never easy, but Advent made this extremely difficult and attempted to make money off of me during this. To refil prescriptions that my long-time physician had prescribed (just a refil), they refused and suggested I see a specialist. No Doctor there has ever been helpful to me outside of my old primary.
