I definitely would not recommend Dr Nelson!!! If your a patient I would find a new neurologist. If I hadn't found a new one my son would have been dead. I have family that does EEG for Johnson City Medical center and his exact words was RUN RUN RUN. If your looking for a good neurologist I highly recommend Benjamin Jewett in Johnson City. Nelson had my son a high dose of seizure meds that even my pharmacist said that was a dangerous dosage.

My son has been with Dr. Nelson for several years. I have nothing but respect and appreciation for him. He will speak with you as long as it takes and you never feel rushed. You feel as if you are in the best hands. You feel safe. He is professional and kind. Thank you Dr. Nelson!
