I’ve been fortunate enough to train at Shawn Hammonds now for over 2 years and I can’t say enough great things about it. The team culture is unreal and the level of instruction is top notch. I remember walking in on the first day and immediately felt welcome from Shawn and everyone on the mats. Doesn’t matter if you’ve been training for years or ready to step on the mat for the first time, I promise you won’t find a better place to take the next step in your jiu-jitsu journey.
While in town for work, I did a 6am drop-in class at Shawn Hammonds Jiu Jitsu Academy and had a great time! The coach did a great job breaking down technique and made the class super fun. Would definitely recommend checking this Academy out if you're in town.
Shawn and Nick Brit are both master level instructors and phenomenal people. They care about advancing you as a Jiujitsu competitor and a person. It’s the only place for me.
