Dr Banash kept my husband in the hospital overnight when another wanted him discharged. My husband began hemorrhaging just hours later and was moved to ICU. For the next 19 days Dr Banash came to check on his progress, to encourage our family, fully compassionate. When my husband was readmitted a month later Dr Banash came to see him after seeing the daily admittance list. Our daughter commented accurately that this man got into medicine for all of the right reasons.
