We are relocating from Colorado to Wilmington. We had set up an appt to see a house. We texted saying we were running 10 minutes late. Arrived at the property only to find no one there. Received a text saying they had another showing and could not wait. Couldn't wait 10 minutes?! What if we had been very interested in the house and wanted to spend 15 minutes touring? Nice apartments but the who ever designed the parking lot should be fired.. there’s barely enough spots for the residents and it’s so tight you have to 3 point turn just to get out The office is so disorganized that no one is on the same page, one will tell you something and someone else will tell you the opposite and when you ask for the person you spoke with previously; they miraculously aren’t there.
Updated Review 8/7/25 - I have to move after 3 years at the current property due to an expanding family. I'm bummed I couldn't find something else with Shaw that fit my needs and budget. Sherry and her team are responsive, compassionate, and all around good people. They have been nothing but helpful during this process. I think people forget that Shaw just manages the properties and are generally waiting on landlords to reply before they can move forward with tenant issues. Shaw Real Estate is easy to work with and they are good-hearted, kind people! Happy to do business with them!!
Management does the bare minimum. They will tell you they’ll call you back and they never do. They don’t take violent crimes that happen on their properties seriously, have your home broken into by another tenant WITH VIDEO EVIDENCE and they basically say it’s not there problem. They allow dangerous criminals and drug addicts do whatever they want on the property. Shaw is a joke plain and simple
