End of August 2026: I've been here since Feb 2022. Throughout Management and maintenance, I was less than thrilled in the beginning. I got apartment with a broken window with promises of it being fixed ASAP! Nothing happened and was ghosted and no number of contact (was Tablerock back when I signed!) Then Danielle was here as property Management and loved her cuz she communicated and ran fun contests and kept up on Maintenance. Mature landscaping and beatifully lit apartments. Kimmy is an amazing PM and does a great job for her tenants!
Shaw Mountain Apartments are an entomologist’s dream. You can study all sorts of bugs! Spiders, Western Conifer Seed bugs, Box Elder bug, and my personal favorite the Elm Seed bugs! Because they never treat the trees, buildings, or surrounding areas, they are infested with them! You can study them as they crawl through the windows (seals are gone from old age), through the kitchen cupboards, microwave, stove pipe, and all the vents! Overall, I have really enjoyed living at Shaw Mountain apartments. The managers are always nice and helpful, maintenance is quick to respond to an issue, and the location and space in the apartment perfect for me (especially the huge walk-in closet). The 3-story buildings are oriented to have really beautiful views of the sunset as well. The only thing that that has been a bit of a challenge were the immense volume of elm seed bugs that invaded in the summer into fall.
