After cochlear implant surgery this past Friday, Dr. Shaw was the on call physician. We called him because we needed to know what different or additional medications could be given for severe vertigo. He was rude and dismissive and would not listen to us.I kept trying to ask if taking dramamine, (which was given before we left the hospital and worked well.) Dr Shaw is wonderful doctor! Very patient I saw him in two seconds. Told me exactly what was wrong. I have a glomus tumor in my eardrum. I got scheduled for surgery and had a stomach bug. He rescheduled the second time I went to the hospital for surgery. I was coughing because I had just quit smoking and the other having to reschedule the doctor has been very kind patient and understanding I have all the faith in the world and then start removing this tumor from my eardrum and I can’t wait to have this taken out I have full ... read more
