Beware. Not honest. I took my 2012 Camry Hybrid in for an oil change. Steve, the owner, came back about 30 minutes later. Had a list of repairs needed and pictures that he texted me. (New struts, sway bar, reset steering angle, 4 wheel alignment - total cost of $1617.18.) An urgent one was a new radiator and hoses because of a leak. I took my car to Steve at 80k miles for a major reset, and it honestly needed a lot more than I realized — wheel bearings, serpentine belt, blower motor, brakes, tires, suspension, and more. Even the check engine light was on. I didn’t specifically bring it in to diagnose the check engine light, but after the work was completed it has stayed off, which was a great surprise. I needed a new fuel pump for an 06 toyota 'rolla and saw shaw auto care were one of the only places open by my house at 7:30 am. I called and talked to Steve, told him what was going on and lucky for me he had an opening that morning. I towed my car there around 10am and they fixed my fuel pump and got me out before 1pm. Awesome service and friendly mechanics! Would recommend again

Do Not Take Your Car Here! 6 weeks ago I took my Chevy Traverse here to have the thermostat replaced. Not only were they overpriced but they DID NOT Honor their warranty! The first time I used my AC after this repair my car started running hot…again. I took it to Rad Air on Portage Trail. They found that my radiator cracked and the fan was not functioning properly. Be prepared to get overcharged. I went in to fix a check engine light just to pass an emissions test, and instead of focusing on simple solutions, they immediately jumped to major, expensive repairs. Communication was awful, no clear diagnosis, no proper explanation, just a quote for over $1,400. When I asked if there might be a simpler fix to try first, I simply got NO.
