Crawfish are usually the best & the blue crab is amazing! I’m Cajun & this is the closest thing to my Dad’s seafood that I’ve found. Every now & then there is a batch that’s off BUT that’s okay! You can’t be perfect all of the time �

I love the lent meals. Delicious and different every Friday. I start looking on FB early in the day to see what’s for dinner. I love that they are in Broadmoor. Hidden gem in Shreveport.

I think this food is fantastic. I wish I lived in Louisiana so I can get some on weekends. I was out there last year opening up a la Madeleine cafe off Fern Avenue and the Shavers catered to us for lunch and I tell you it was the best. I wonder if they will come to Texas so I can let me family taste their cooking.
Every year, I order a smoked turkey for Thanksgiving. A few days ago, I placed my yearly order. I asked how big the turkey would be, and was told, 12-14 pounds. We picked up our turkey today, and when we took it out of the box, it looked like an anorexic chicken. I understand that a turkey will lose 1 or two pounds during cooking....however....we weighed this thing....6...as in SIX pounds! NO turkey loses 8 pounds during cooking!
