Sue and her staff were amazing throughout the whole process. From the very beginning, Sue was supportive, patient, nurturing, encouraging and empowering for both of us. Our choices and points-of-view were respected and enriched by Sue and staff. She has an impeccable and varied wealth of experience and knowledge and we felt fortunate to benefit from it. We hand an amazing home birth and we had everything we needed to make it a fantastic success thanks largely to Shasta Midwives.

Sue shows so much care, love and support for me, my family and my baby girl due in May Sue takes her time during each appointment to support any and all needs or concerns I may have and is wonderful at explaining and sharing all of her knowledge with me. These women are amazing. They helped me have my son all natural without any complications or drugs! Sue genuinely cares for you as a person and the tiny human growing inside of you. Words can not describe how blessed we as a county are to have Sue and Shasta Midwives available as an option to birthing women. Peaceful, informed, prepared, empowered, minimal intervention, fear-free, joyful... birth as it was meant to be. My birth at the Shasta Midwives birth center was the best day of my life.
