I think Dr. Higer is great. I had to move away from the area so she is no longer my physician but she is the best one I've ever had and I recommend her highly. Sallie Paige Bryan, Arnold, California

Awful. No matter what the problem is, you will be told your child is "fine" and to come back in a week. She did not listen to my concerns for my child on the visits we made to her office. It doesn't matter if the child has a body rash, vomiting, diarreah, bladder infection etc. Everything, in her opinion is "fine". She will offer "it is probably allergies", but will not test for them.I know many people in our area who will not use her because of examples like this.If you want a doctor who will sit back and do nothing, she is... read more

Personable, Not Intimidating... like a real person... We recently brought our child to Dr. Higer. She was very respectful of our choices, and listened to our concerns about our child. She gave us information on possible treatments/goals, etc and let us make the decision. She let us know what she would do if our child was hers, and left us to research on our own & said she'd support whatever decisions we made.She is very "laid-back", and doesn't over-medicate.
