Dr. Kumar is an extraordinary doctor! I recently had a colonoscopy, which I had been putting off for a while. However, the procedure was a quick, painless, and non-event. He is one of the most kind, compassionate, professional and knowledgeable doctor that I have ever met. He didn't make me feel like a number. He took the time to explain things before the procedure and then afterwards. If you have been putting off scheduling your colonoscopy, I highly recommend calling Dr. Kumar's office today.

Dr. Kumar and his staff are excellent! I have been a patient for many years....he is always very very thorough and has a great bedside manner. I recently had surgery...this was my first surgery ever...and Dr. Kumar eased my mind and referred me to a fantastic surgeon. The nurses and office staff are always very friendly and helpful as well. Highly recommend!

Dr. Kumar is wonderful! I have been dealing with pancreatitis for several years, seeing multiple doctors, and getting no real answers as to the probable cause. Dr. Kumar is the first doctor to really take the initiative to figure out what is going on, and I can't thank him enough for this.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Kumar. I first met him 18 years ago when my dad was a patient at Jefferson Hospital. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, it was a stab to mine and my moms heart. Dr. Kumar was the one who had to tell us the devastating news. We were hysterical as you can imagine but Dr. Kumar sat with us for a very long time and reassured us he would get us the very best care for him and he did. My mom and I are both patients of Dr Kumar and we think the world of him

Dr. Kumar is the greatest. He is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, patient, and professional. I know my health is in the best, competent hands when he is performing my procedures. His office staff is also so helpful when scheduling appointments and refilling medications. The staff at the Waterfront Surgery Center is also so wonderful, kind and caring. I would recommend Dr. Kumar to anyone who wants to know that their care is with the best doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kumar for over 10 years. I absolutely love this doctor. He is patient and very compassionate. He takes the time to explain everything before and after all procedures. If you have any questions, he is very accommodating and ensures that you understand.

Dr. Kumar and staff were fantastic. The prep drink that you need to take before your test cost me $80, with insurance and tasted so nasty that I got sick on it. Dr. Kumar told me about a prep drink that a lot of doctors use, Gatorade and a laxative powder, costs under $15. It did the trick and tasted fine. I definitely recommend Dr. Kumar and Staff and his Prep drink.

Had my second routine colonoscopy and was just treated by Dr. Kumar; all at the Waterfront Surgery Center in Homesteaded, PA. Dr. Kumar takes the time explain the procedure and follows up afterwards to answer any questions or concerns. From the intake receptionist, all of the nurses and anesthesia staff, to the discharge nurse.... these folks put you at ease and really care about you (as opposed to typical out patient hospital shuffle). I highly recommend Dr. Kumar.

Dr. Kumar is a very compastionate dr. I had seen other drs about my stomach issues & got dismissed like i was a number. This Dr kept fighting along with me to find out where my problems were coming from & got me results quickly. It was wonderful to know that i wasn't alone at any point of my treatment. I would HIGHLY recommend this Dr to everyone that has gastro issues.
