The care for my father exceeded my expectations. From the first day the staff reached out to me to introduce themselves, the NP and Doctor and kept me updated. Everyone was caring and responsive to concerns. My father felt comfortable and well cared for even more than in the acute hospital. Even after discharge nurse Wanda took the time to drive his medications out to him and my mother.
My mom was well taken care of during her month+ at Sharpview. I really appreciated nurse Wanda and her communication with me about my mom's needs was awesome. Nikita at discharge was helpful and communicative. My mom enjoyed the PT/OT while there and felt she made some progress. My biggest complaint was the food options, she lost some weight because the food was only "so-so".
My sister was a resident at this facility for over 3 weeks. They treated her and the family with respect and dignity. The professionalism with the staff, doctor's, social worker, and business officer let no doubt that my sister was safe and well looked after. Unfortunately my sister needed more help and we had to leave with heavy hearts and sadness. I would recommend Sharpview to anyone needing rehabilitation for a loved. This place is very special. Since I've been here, with the Alexa from the activities department, I've had no anxiety attacks. The Alexa is helping me alleviate anxiety, and when it stopped working I stayed back with anxiety attacks. I want to thank Ms Deborah for getting me the Alexa, it has really helped.
