This is a sham, 3rd party pass through remanufactured engine company. I am a 100% disabled veteran, who, by mistake bought a remanufactured engine from this company. The engine went out within 3- 4 months, and I have been without transportation. I have talked with the owner (Jack) and some person Yalda by email numerous times about a replacement engine. Do not buy from this company, see all the metal in the oil pan and pick up screen, this is after approximately 20 miles, I'm the Service Manager at a Land Rover Dealership and this was installed by a Level 4 Tech, I always had to leave a negative review to get them to call me back, they finally agreed to pay for tear down and after I sent them pictures of what we found they agreed to send us a motor, well two moths later we still have no motor, no money and they will not return our calls, we have had to get a attorney involv... read more

I called and spoke with the owner Jack, who appears to be very knowledgeable about his business, and was very nice in the beginning of our conversation, however, when I inquired about the price of an engine his company sent me a month ago via email, he quoted me a different price than what was on the email and when I asked him would he honor it, he told me no, and then proceeded to accuse me of trying to hustle him and proceeded use profanity towards me and hung up on me. Class action lawsuit? And be sure to report them to the BBB, (here is their profile on the bbb you can report them too) https://www.bbb.org/us/fl/jacksonville/profile/engine-equipment/sharper-edge-engines-llc-0403-152412866 for those they screw over we can shut them down if we all do our part clearly a bad company at hand. Crooks! David and Jack both. This place is already closed doors once. They have zero customer service and if you have an issue they will not take care of you. Do not buy an engine from these guys

Larry Gudgel, . Their liars and cheats. Dishonest, should be in prison. Lady bought a 4.6L modular for her mustang.1,700$ it looked like it had been on the Titanic. sent another cams were bad. lady still hasn't gotten her money back.Two months. been told it was returned weeks ago. But no confermation #s. Washington state

Bought a used Montero engine over a year ago and I have had 0 problems. Jack was thorough from beginning to delivery. Paid less than a used truck down payment and got to keep my vehicle. I've put 15000 on it without anything but oil changes. I recommend this route for high mileage or when a timing belt snaps like mine did. I give them 5 of 5 Stars.
