The doctor and nurse were honestly pretty good. The reason why this rating is this low is due to the fact that I called them ahead of time asking if my knee could go through an MRI, and the phone operator said yes. However when I drove 40 minutes just to get there I was told it was only used for life threatening situations. I understand the reasoning , however it would be best to tell that to the patient before driving all the way from Carlsbad and waste their gas and time. Train your phone operators better. My Nurse Christina in the ER was A+ AMAZING. At a moment when I had no idea what was happening she took amazing care. Always checking in, and making sure I was comfortable, not in pain, and the room even comfortable. And when I had an issue, Sharp stepped up and helped me. Love this Hosptial
Sharp requires a patient to watch their videos before you can watch TV. If you only want to watch TV for a short time frame, hope you enjoy watching hospital training videos. Hey Sharp, when I'm ill, I don't want to training videos!!
Great ER docs are very helpful and understanding…… they made sure I Went home Very well taken care of….
My husband came here tonight thinking he had food poisoning. We found out he will need to have an appendectomy. From the beginning of the experience we got into the room so quickly and the nurse and doctor and surgeon were so amazing and explained all of our options. This has got to be the best emergency room experience we have ever had. My friend is a nurse and was surprised how quickly we were taken care of. I highly recommend this place as they care about how you are treated.
