People come here needing the up most care and instead, they're met with indifference and disrespect. Looking back I still have very ill thoughts and get sick to my stomach with flashbacks. I had an extremely distressing experience here and cannot recommend it to anyone seeking compassionate care. One staff member, who was not a doctor, registered nurse, or therapist, asked me an incredibly personal and inappropriate question about whether I had been assaulted—this happened while I was already upset and crying. It felt invasive and unprofessional. Extremely irritating workers here! Get ready to be treated like a bum, teased and harassed. They don't care about the HIPAA laws either.
This place went from bad to worse to unbearable. Do NOT take someone here who wants help! I called ahead to see what to expect and the info received didn't align with anything that actually happened. Security staff was rude and hateful to everyone who walked through the door, including the eldery. We waited over three hours in the ER before my family member was even seen by intake.
