I used Deversified Energy gas from moment we moved to this area. Never ever I have problems. They were good for poor people. If I ask them to wait with paying my bill ( usually 2 or 3 payment) they were ok with us. And some other people I know. Today got home and I have notice on my door they will shut down my tank because I didn't pay my bill . They deliver not even month ago . I got so upset. I called them . This is a horrible company. They deliver gas 5 days before Christmas, leave a door hanger on our back locked gate that we do not use on a daily basis, with a bill for over $1200 due upon receipt. They are too sneaky and lazy to put it somewhere you might actually find it (like maybe the front door or in the mailbox). I got a letter dated Feb 28th from a dept collector and had already mailed all monies due by Feb 20th. Formerly did business with Diversified Energy, Sharp Energy thinks because they bought out a propane company, they can use prior contract language when it's convenient (like fees to remove the tank) but ignore key items in the prior contract (minimum annual propane use to avoid rental fees) when it isn't convenient. Also, $0 service order tickets they say are free the day of, they bill you almost $200 for a month later. Don't care about their customers.
This company is really hard to contact. When you finally talk with someone the customer service representative is very rude. If I had another option I would not use this company. If I do not use enough propane in a year I am charged a fee. If I don't use it at all I am charged more. It is all a bit much and the utilities commission really needs to put a stop the extra fees.
