With all the horror stories I hear about health insurance, I cannot say enough good things about Sharp Community Medical Group. I have a rare disease and they have treated me incredibly well. Because I have the HMO plan, I was not expecting to get such amazing care from them. I hope I never have to switch. Their teams are organized, helpful, and nothing short of amazing.
Very disappointed! This organization is absolutely unprofessional and shameless. They don’t care about your health — only about money and keeping the system running. Nobody cares about the patients, they don’t follow up, they’re not interested, phone calls take forever to be answered, and the staff often have no knowledge or ability to help. If I could give zero Stars I would. I have never had such a bad experience with insurance in my life and I'm not young so that's staying a lot. This is the only insurance provided by my current employer so I'm kind of stuck with it but I would never choose it if I could. Between authorizations and games that they play. I have been waiting too long for this specific medication issues that are easily resolved and simple in my mind are a constant issue with this insurance.
