There was an old man harassing and throwing racial slurs. The man was hitting and punching on the girls and the staff at Sharon woods didn’t do shit about it! They called the cops and the girls whom were defending themselves got arrested!
I stayed at Sharon Woods for about 8 months. During my time, I experienced a wide variety of ups and downs. The best part about the place is the outside area. There is a track to walk and the outdoor environment is nice when the weather is. I left Sharon Woods in a better state than I did coming into it, but there were a lot of things about the place that could be improved on. First of all, the food is absolutely terrible. If the residents actually followed Bobby F., Jake S. and Denise M's processes and procedures at Sharon Woods they would have an incredible opportunity to be saved, like I was saved. I experienced sexual harassment from MHP Christian C. when I was here. I documented everything and reportedly it accordingly as well as asked to switch MHPs. The head of the facility, Mike, appeared to handle it well informing me that Christian was now required to take a course. However, MHP Alyssa attempted to gaslight me on the issue in paperwork.
