My mother is an elderly patient of Dr. Bal's and while I used to have difficulty contacting the office, recently it has become much easier. I have no trouble getting through now. There was also a clinic held on a Saturday and while that is not a frequent event, it makes the services more accessible and available. Dr. Bal is also really knowledgeable and nice to deal with. I really appreciate the changes made on the administration side. Thank you.
Been a patient of Dr. Bal since she started her practice here in Cambridge. She was absolutely fantastic for years, then in the last 5 or 6 years, it's like the entire office doesn't want to be bothered with anyone. In fact, I was told a few years ago when I asked about my son becoming a patient (aged out from his pediatrician) that Dr. Bal is not taking any patients and she's actually trying to get rid of some of her patients. Guess it's working.
Health care in Ontario is not perfect and I think it’s incredibly difficult for doctors and health care staff to meet demands in the best manner due to the austerity cuts always aimed at our health care. That being said, Dr.Bal does her best to show her patients great care. I always feel heard and believe she takes my symptoms seriously. Dr. Bal has mysteriously vanished & has not equipped her replacement staff with the appropriate work place environment to effectively execute on their job. Where are you Dr. Bal? Have you abandoned your patients? Edit: after posting this, I got a call from Dr. Bals office saying she’s available once every two weeks or so, and they’ve made a note that I prefer to see her… the mystery grows larger!
