I have never remembered an anesthesiologists name until I met this one. Dr. S had an amazing bedside manner coupled with humor. She asked me questions, confirmed I understood everything, and the let me know that I had an amazing surgeon. She asked me if I liked Christmas music because that’s what we could listen to until the ‘boss’ came in (surgeon) then all bets were off and the surgery team would listen to whatever the boss wanted but that wouldn’t impact me because I will be getting the best sleep ever.
