I was referred out to Dr. Danesh for a retina detachment. I was scared at the thought of having eye surgery, but Dr. Danesh and his staff took very good care to explain my treatment, paperwork and scheduling. I am thankful that I trusted Dr. Danesh to repair my detachment. Miracle Worker!
Dr.Danesh had been working on my eyes for a few years. I have Diabeties and he is the fastest l, kindest, patient and knowledgeable doctor I've ever met. Oh no, my retinas detached! I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Danesh and his team. I came in with a detached retina and he immediately recognized the urgency of my situation and got me into surgery the same day he saw me. Two weeks ago at my husband's very first appointment with Dr. Sharam Danesh was the day from hell. One star is too generous. Abrupt, rushed, heavy hand, careless - never examined my husband's eyes after dilation. Lesson learned - We should have done a deep dive researching this doctor before scheduling the appointment as there are several negative experiences shared online. My husband's eyes are not doing well since Dr. Sharam Danesh treated my husband. Recovery will takes weeks.
I was visiting AZ for a cataract surgery consult from out of state- My surgeon suspected a retina detachment and Dr Danesh was kind enough to work me into his schedule the very next day to assess it. It was such a relief to get an answer quickly, as we could not proceed with my cataract surgery if my retina was detached.
