My roommate woke up with a sharp pain on her right side thinking it was her appendix or gallbladder so we took her to Shannon (thinking it was going to be a good place to take her) once we got to the ER we waited 2 HOURS just to get a room in the back, once we got to her room there were bugs crawling on her BED and on the floor, the nurse that was taking my roommates blood dropped the syringe on the floor before taking her blood and used THE SAME NEEDLE. We had a really bad experience this past Friday My daughter's water broke and she was taken to Shannon's children and women's unit By the time my wife and I arrived there was talk that my grandaughter that was coming may have a heart issue and who was coming a month early. They then were looking to transfer us to another hospital They cancelled flights 3 or 4 times during the night My wife and son in law then were told we were going to Austin So they took off to meet them there. 90% of anyone working at this place can not perform the task. Whether it be make an appointment, get a medical boot, get a referral, figure out what is wrong, or remote items from a surgery from your body. This list could go on. Do the proper blood work after pneumonia! I could add some initials behind my name and do better than most at this facility. Patients are just a number here. Run!!! Drive miles away to get care.
