My wife was in town for a wedding and came to the ER. Her stay, diagnosis, treatment, and care was excellent. The nurses were fantastic. After her return trip to Tyler, three days later, the nurse followed up with a call to see if everything was OK. You don't get that kind of treatment in the larger hospitals. Thanks to all those that cared for my wife in my absence. Tony Caldwell and Carolyn Caldwell.

Worst inpatient experience yet and one time I had to be flown to San Antonio. Put in so called new building with defefuct plugs, showers drains, hvac with the temperature constantly fluctuating, even in two rooms. Over 50% nurses i dealt with were half-assed, taking long amount of time to deal with your iv alarms which are never-ending. Put in iso room by mistake as a test order was misread...surgeon came to remove bandage and check the site and didn't know it had already had, twice. A city should never be ruled by 1 medical care system. Shannon has a grip on San angelo and it's causing people pain and misery. 20 yrs ago at least there was 2 options. Now one has to deal with the incompetence of Shannon or drive somewhere else. Its sad.
