She scheduled my first appointment with her for an HOUR, "..to really get to know you and your medical history." As a master of oversharing and info dumping, I've learned to recognize the early signs that my audience's eyes are about to gloss over. It did not happen. She paid attention and asked relevant questions the whole time and continues to. I feet seen, valued and respected in a way that exceeded my expectations.
