Dr. Hunter is a gem. I hadn't been able to breathe out of my right nostril for years. It had gotten so bad, the pressure began affecting the hearing in my right ear. She fixed my deviated septum, shrunk the turbinates, and I feel like I have a new lease on life. I can breath completely fine, and can finally hear properly. It almost seems too good to be true! Dr Hunter overcharges and exaggerates her time. She charged $684 for ear wax removal. Their billing service is awful as well. Save your time and money and find another doctor.
I have recently been having ear pain because of fluid build up. She prescribed me a spray to help with my allergies which did clear the fluid. However, I was still having pain. She was quick to diagnose me with Myofascial Pain Syndrome. She gave me a nice big pamphlet of information and recommended I get a night guard. She also explained why I was having pain still because of MPS. I got a night guard and my pain has been cut in half. I rarely feel any pain anymore. It has been a gift to not be in pain everyday. Dr. Shannon Hunter put in a ear tube for me after chronic water behind my eardrum. She also removed my tonsils. I will continue to seek health care through her about my sinus issues.
Dr Hunter was an answer to prayer! My daughter has rapid hearing loss. We tried other doctors but got no answers. As I observed her hearing disappear each day we finally found Dr Hunter. She moved rapidly to resolve the issue. After checking all that she knew she quickly referred us to Duke . We are here today to hopefully receive answers. Dr. Hunter strongly supports us on our journey. We are so thankful we found her. Highly recommend her!
