Terrible hotel terrible experience. The property is really showing its age. It’s getting to be run down in places and it’s in need of an update. Staff wasn’t knowledgeable on basic hotel information which lead to lot of confusion and ruined parts of my stay. Photos are misleading. Tried to talk to management about my situation they weren’t empathetic or respectful. Sorry offering a free breakfast which I turned down doesn’t overcome the bad experience I had. Pros: Excellent service. It really does make the stay more pleasant when the team is efficient, competent, and friendly. The lobby always smells so fresh and inviting when you walk in from the busy city streets. Hot towels and spring water upon arrival make a big difference after a long flight. The restaurant in the hotel is very good. The gym is decent with free weights, weight machines, and cardio equipment. The location is a 15 minute walk to the ferry or sea plane terminal. Excellent hotel in a famous location. Very close to high-end shops, great restaurants, Stanley Park sea wall, the Convention Center, and Canada Place. The room is spacious and very clean. The check in staff and valet were all very pleasant.
