Delicious! – Shane's is a wonderful place to come with friends and family to enjoy yummy bbq! It is soo good. If you have not enjoyed their delicious food yet you are missing out on something great. Their food is always fresh and tastes home made. They have such a great variety to choose from too! I love those ribs!! – This place is one of the best spots in Charlotte to get pork ribs fast and super yummy. There are always many families that come to dine in, and they do a great job accounting for the after church crowds on Sunday. They treat everyone in your group like its their first time here, yet even for the long time Shanes Rib Shack customers, they always greet you with a smile and a "welcome back". Great BBQ – I have been coming here for lunch for a couple of years. I usually come once a week because the food is really good and the service is quick. I haven't found a better place for bbq around the University area. The ribs are fantastic!

Shane's Rib Shack – Meats are amazing! Love the green beans and brunswick stew as side dishes. Peach cobbler is like your grandma made - soooooo good!

Excellent catering – My office ordered Shane's Rib Shack for our Charlotte office party over the Holiday's and everyone loved it. We had pulled pork sandwiches, chicken tenderloins, with Mac and Cheese and greens. All the main entrees were cooked great, tasted fresh, and were nice and hot when we ate them. For dessert we had the peach cobbler that was really tasty. Prepared! – I recently went to Shane's rib Shack on Peachtree Industrial for a catered lunch for my work. I called ahead and requested what I needed for 25 people and not only received a great price but when I arrived to pick it up, everything was ready, including silverware, plates, cups, serving spoons, even ice! The staff was friendly and helped me carry all of my items out to the car. In times like these when customer service, in my opinion, is at an all time low I was extremely impressed by my experience at Shane's.

Terrific – Best barbecue ever! I've loved every barbecue I've tasted... tomato base, white base, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kansas City...and this is my all time favorite. This barbecue should own the "finger lickin' good" award.

Cafeteria food – I am a traditionalist when it comes to BBQ. Seasoned slow cooked meats. Home made sides. That kinda stuff. Shane's is a fast food attempt at BBQ. The ribs are par boiled then finished on a grill and smothered in sauce. The pork and beef tasted as if out of a can. Not good. Their sauce is a half hearted attempt. The sides had to be the biggest disappointment. Beans were Pork and Beans from a can. No kidding! The mac and cheese plain. As I said in the heading, your nearest school serves food of this quality.
