Kind, professional, knowledgeable, and encouraging. He went above and beyond to serve me, and I'm healthier because of him.
It was obvious that he could not look past the fact that I am overweight. His prejudice came in the way of the care he provided me. The experience was not good.
Would give 10 starts if I could. He truly cares about his patients. Highly recommend!
I met Shane during an ED visit at UNC-CH in April 2013. He was condescending and clearly had zero understanding of mental health first aid. He was proselytizing and insensitive. Avoid at all costs.
