I went there for my 3:00 appointment. I have a voice mail telling me to be there at 3:00 that I told them about. I need a new doctor as mine had recently retired. I was in need of a prescription renewal for something I had been taking 20 years that I am not supposed to quit without Doctor approval. I was told that I should have come in at 2:30 to fill out paperwork. I told them I did it online as requested. I was told I must reschedule. I saw Dr. Ashford on April 4. I was having some stomach issues and he ordered an X-Ray the same day. I never received any info about the x-ray until May 2. The nurse called and told me the test was negative and the doctor wanted me to take some meds for pain. I informed her that i had taken the meds before and they didn't work. Almost one month before calling me back. A couple of weeks before my husband saw his PA and he ordered a prescription for blood pressure. When we went to pick it up, it had been recalled. Dr Ashford is an amazing physician! He listens to your every need and genuinely cares for each patient. I have recommended Dr Ashford to my family members and they have started going to him as well.
Doctor Shane is friendly, knowledgeable and takes time to listen.
Dr. Ashford has been my Primary Care Physician for six years & has proven to be extremely knowledgeable in a wide range of medical ailments. He never fails to answer my questions and address my concerns in detail, never appears to be rushed, is honest and of importance, is caring. His in-office testing, screening and procedures are first class & enables his office to deliver their findings quickly. His staff is great. For my wife and I there is no better Primary Care Physician than Dr. Ashford.
Good luck actually seeing the doc. I started going to this practice last year and after several visits for various medical reasons, I was always seen by a PA. He can't even take 2 min to introduce himself to new patients- poor patient service. The front desk staff isn't qualified to be working at a fast food chain let alone helping sick and injured people- ZERO people skills. Ended up having to go the ER to be seen because she couldn't figure out how to look up my insurance. Done w/ this place!
Dr. Ashford is a very knowledgable physician with excellent bedside manor. He is a very good family physician with a very good background in geriatric medicine. I highly recommend him if you are on medicare or looking for a primary physician.
I would recommend Dr. Ashford to anyone looking for a Doctor, he listens to all you have to say and is a very smart Dr.
