I was very scared going into the 1st appointment. I knew I needed surgery, but nobody was listening to me. I don't heal easily, I explained that I was there to get a 2nd opinion. As the other place wanted me to get an X-ray every 30 days, no appointments. I had a compression fracture at L3 and sum bones were pinching the nerves that made my legs severely cramp up. Dr Andrew is one of the best doctors I've ever met. I wish he was my primary doctor. I would recommend him to everyone.
Staff were great. I get nervous at Dr's. Visit and staff let me ramble . Shane Andrew, DO is a bit of a strange animal. He is very focused on what he is doing at any given time. He told me in some very medical terms my lower back is about shot(or that is what I got from the meeting). He spent about 7 minutes with me and said here is a referral for mri. Dr Andrew, was very professional, he also explained in detail before and after surgery procedure and recovery time as well as post surgery therapy. I am ver pleased with Dr Andrew and I am looking forward on moving forward with back surgery. Also, front desk personnel were very professional and curious. The x-Ray lady was also very professional and courteous as well, sorry I forgot her name. I would definitely recommend Dr Andrew. Thank you
