My daughter EMILY was 23 yrs old. She had emergency gallbladder surgery in August 2022, she then fell and broke her ankle in September 2022. She was seen by Dr Shapiro on 9/16/22 and a cast was set. EMILY was overweight, had a family history of blood clots, had a recent surgery and due to the cast was immobilized for four weeks.
