one of the worst experiences i had there while giving birth to my son horrible! north florida was much better
I have never experienced such an amazing hospital. They surprised and continuously reached beyond our expectations. The Dr.s, nurses, and staff members are the most extraordinary people. Thank you for all of you do.
Shands is a mess. From bad communication between and inside departments, to horrible scheduling for people who live far away (we live in Tally), to insane scheduling for a missed appointment and misgendering my child. They also mischeduled a critical ultrasound appointment. Don't do it. If Nemours was closer than Orlando I would switch. I feel trapped. Unfortunately I am stuck visiting shands because my child has a rare medical condition.
I wouldn’t recommend anybody to take their children to Shands! They are by far the worst! Their communication sucks ! As well as them being rude ! They take entirely to long just to not cure or know what’s going on with your child! Everything about this hospital sucks! The only good thing I have to say is Labor and delivery was ok when I had my baby but I felt they could’ve did more! I would recommend North Florida!
